Fall 2011: Pirate Party
CMSJ & Blue Water Jewelers Presented "A Pirate Paaarrrty!"
Thanks for joining us as Blue Water Jewelers and the Children's Museum of St. Johns teamed up for a boatload of fun on Saturday, November 19!
Families enjoyed a pirate-themed afternoon before heading downtown to watch the "Nights of Lights" official lighting. Not only were there be REAL pirates there with their ship, but the kids got the chance to climb aboard! Families stuck around for magic tricks, pirate songs and storytelling by the grizzled seamen as well as exploring CMSJ's traveling exhibits for fun crafts and activities, like pirate face painting, balloon sword battles, pirate ship knot tying, playing in the past and digging for buried treasure. A treasure hunt for all children made the day complete.
Grown-ups had fun watching the kids plus an opportunity to browse the really gorgeous treasures found inside Blue Water Jewelers.
All proceeds benefited the Children's Museum of St. Johns, Inc., a not-for-profit 501 (c)3 organization.
