Who Do We Serve?
Our museum is focused on creating experiences for children, families, parents, teachers, caregivers, schools and organizations that stimulate the creative spirit and build an excitement for learning through interactive exploration of the arts and sciences.
In addition to local families and visitors, our museum intends to become a field trip destination for the approximately 45,000 Northeast Florida fourth-grade students who visit St. Augustine as part of the Florida history course curriculum.
Our museum will:
- Provide an interactive, multidisciplinary educational experience with focus on art, local history, science, music, storytelling, and humanities.
- Encourage learning and enrich the lives of all children in our community.
- Inspire a love of learning that helps children become creative thinkers.
- Offer regular programs, classes, and summer camps to engage and stimulate children year-round.
- Offer area educators a resource for school field trips.
- Provide a fun place where visitors of all ages can play, learn, imagine, create, and interact in a positive way.
- Encourage interest and knowledge of our community’s rich history and heritage.
