With
Your Support, We Can Make It Happen!
The
Children’s Museum of St. Johns, or CMSJ,
is an "emerging museum" and currently operating
as a "Museum
without Walls" as we search
for a location to call home. At this time, we bring
traveling exhibits and programs to
various venues throughout the year. Once open
to the public in our own museum space, CMSJ will be
a fun, safe place to play, an exciting place to learn,
and a comfortable gathering place for families to interact.
Children will be able to touch, create, imagine, and
learn through hands-on, interactive play. There will
be no signs that say “DO
NOT TOUCH!” Fun
and entertaining exhibits will encourage play and,
at the same time, stimulate the mind.
 |

The possibilities are endless! Exhibits
will
be
targeted to young children and
relate to
the unique
history and
environment of
Northeast
Florida. |

In
addition to interactive
exhibits,
the museum
will offer classes,
workshops,
and camps,
featuring exploration
of multi-
disciplinary
subjects.
Weekly storytimes and
changing
monthly
programs and
presentations will encourage frequent
repeat visits. |

A
meeting room and/or cafe that is open to
visitors
of
the
museum would provide a place
for parents
to
meet and be
available to rent for
birthday parties and other
special events. |
